In this 90-minute hands-on workshop led by Nicole Cignoli, Reference Librarian, Welles-Turner Memorial Library, attendees learn how to: • log into their Gmail account without assistance • differentiate between an email address and website address • compose and send a new email • view received email • reply to a received email • understand the difference between the inbox, sent and trash folders. Workshop prerequisites: proven knowledge of how to use computer, mouse, keyboard, web browser, and internet skills. Maximum of 12 attendees, so reservations are required online or at Reference at 860-652-7720.
The “Keep up with your Grandkids!” lecture series continues on the third Tuesday of the month, except December and January, focusing on technology topics selected by the public. The Riverfront Community Center (RCC) is located at 300 Welles Street, Glastonbury. This event is co-sponsored by the Welles-Turner Memorial Library and the Town of Glastonbury Human Services Department.
