Navigating through the Medicare maze is difficult whether you have had Medicare for a while or will soon to be 65. With “Open Enrollment” approaching, it’s hard to know what to do! Join us for an overview of your “Medicare Options” and learn how to choose what is best of you in 2018. Remember, “Open Enrollment” is the time of year you can adjust your Medicare choices to best fit you healthcare needs. Ellen Sue Moses, BS Pharm, is a certified CHOICES Counselor. Seating is limited, so reservations are required online or at the library’s Reference Desk at 860-652-7720.
The CHOICES program is a cooperative program of the State of Connecticut Department on Aging, the Area Agencies on Aging and the Center for Medicare Advocacy. CHOICES is comprised of both staff, in-kind professionals from local service agencies and volunteers who provide information to persons age 60 and older and persons with disabilities.
