Services for Disabled Adults

Our Services

All adult residents of Glastonbury are welcome to utilize the services of the Outreach Social Work staff. Specific services and programs for disabled adults, however, can be hard to locate and difficult to navigate for some. The Human Services department has staff that is familiar with the particular needs of adults with disabilities, and with programs and services that may provide needed help. The Outreach Social Work (504 – Outreach Social Work) staff is available to provide information and referrals, case management services and advocacy to assist adults with disabilities to set up whatever supports and services they may need. To make an appointment with a social worker, please call 860-652-7634. Appointments may be held at the Social Services office at the Riverfront Community Center, 300 Welles St., Glastonbury, or in the person’s home if that is needed.
