Suspect ATM

INCIDENT: The Glastonbury Police Department is investigating an armed robbery which occurred at the Global Mart gas station on 05/31/15.

The suspect entered the store around 04:16 hrs and asked the clerk where motor oil for a BMW was located. After he lured the clerk to the rear of the store to assist him, the suspect immediately follows the clerk back to the front of the store and pulls a knife from his pocket (described as having at least a 3” blade with a yellowish handle), holding it against the clerk’s right side. The clerk also believed he saw the handle of a black pistol sticking out of the suspect’s waistband, but he wasn’t quite sure. The suspect then told the clerk to open the cash register or he would stab him. The suspect went behind the counter and stole ~ $800 in cash before leaving the store on foot.

The suspect appears to be a white or light skinned Hispanic male between the ages of 25 and 35 with a medium build and was around 5’07” tall. He was wearing a dark blue suit, possibly with pinstripes, dark colored shoes, a white undershirt, striped tie, yellow sunglasses, and an adjustable black New York Yankees ball cap with a white brim.
